Some voyages may have age restrictions, especially for certain remote or challenging itineraries like those to the polar regions. Quark Expeditions typically recommends that children be at least 8 years old. Keep in mind that some activities and excursions may have additional age restrictions for safety reasons.
-
Generally, soft-sided luggage is recommended as it’s easier to transport and store. There is plenty of storage space in the cabins, but not all hard-shelled suitcases will fit under the beds/in the wardrobes, so we recommend other baggage solutions if you have them.
